What You Need to Crochet Halloween Projects
One of the things I love about fall and Halloween is that you can use fun and bright colors. It doesn’t have to be all dark and spooky. You can still be creative with the use of earth tones and make it suitable for the season.
Here are a few useful supplies you need to crochet for Halloween.
- Black, orange, and white yarns. You can even find glow-in-the-dark yarns, depending on what you’re making.
- Crochet hooks. This Clover Amour crochet hook set is my favorite. I use them all the time.
- Stitch markers. You will need them, especially if you’re making Amigurumi.
- Tapestry needles. I like the ones with the bent tips. They work great with smaller projects and tight stitches.
- Yarn scissors. Get one for each corner where you sit to crochet because, like crochet hooks, they tend to disappear mysteriously.
Remember, if you like to keep it traditional, go for it. Whatever you make, I am sure it will look great.
